However, after Jersey Shore, Jersey Housewives, and Jersey hairstylists the overall reflection of Italian Americans is degrading and insulting. It's nice to see a native of New Jersey who is beautiful, educated, intelligent and of Italian American ancestry. Though I now live in New York, as an American of Italian ancestry born and raised in New Jersey. I thank Alyssa Campanella for helping to negate the image the media has portrayed of us for far too long."
